Historique :	La mairie est installée dans une ancienne maison forte achetée en 1543 par le Cardinal de Tournon, qui ajouta à la demeure deux ailes. Les éléments présentés sont plutôt liés au passage de Catherine de Médicis. Déposés, ils proviennent de la chambre dite de Catherine de Médicis. Le lit, situé dans cette chambre, est probablement une reconstruction tardive, peut-être avec des éléments anciens de remplois, mais aux dimensions de la garniture qui, elle, date du XVIe siècle (découverte lors d'une restauration).
